Build Something New in Healthcare Sales

IPS Health & Wellness is a fast-growing nutraceutical company with an established direct-to-consumer model. We are now expanding into the healthcare professional (HCP) channel and are looking for an experienced Medical Sales Representative to lead this initiative on the ground.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is a territory-building, relationship-driven, commercially accountable role where you will introduce and position our scientifically formulated supplement range to doctors, specialists, and pharmacies.

You will be the bridge between clinical credibility and commercial performance.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

Healthcare Channel Development

  • Introduce and position IPS products to GPs, specialists, pharmacies, and clinics
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with HCPs
  • Drive product endorsement, recommendation, and repeat demand

Territory & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute a structured call cycle and territory strategy
  • Identify and onboard new practices and pharmacy partners
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify growth opportunities

 

Product Education & Clinical Positioning

  • Educate healthcare professionals on formulation, benefits, and positioning of IPS products
  • Conduct product presentations and in-practice training sessions
  • Position IPS as a credible, science-backed and affordable wellness solution

 

Consignment & Commercial Model Execution

  • Introduce and manage consignment-based product placements within practices
  • Ensure stock movement, replenishment, and accountability
  • Build sustainable, mutually beneficial commercial relationships

 

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and client interactions
  • Ensure all engagement aligns with healthcare regulations and ethical standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or medical sales
  • Proven experience calling on doctors and/or pharmacies (non-negotiable)
  • Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to build credibility and influence within a clinical environment
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly self-driven with strong territory management ability

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree (Marketing, Business, Health Sciences or similar)
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel within Gauteng
