Recruitment Coordinator

Location: Weltevreden Park, Gauteng

We are looking for a talented and ambitious recruitment coordinator to join and help our team on a part-time basis with the hiring process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for screening and evaluating resumes, scheduling interviews for the recruiters and managing the administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the recruitment team.
  • Reviewing available positions and candidate requirements.
  • Posting job applications on social media and job sites.
  • Tracking open positions using recruiting software.
  • Assisting the hiring team in screening candidate CVs.
  • Assist with referral campaigns.
  • Contacting candidate references and verifying education requirements.
  • Conducting or arranging initial phone screenings.
  • Communicating with candidates and setting up interviews.
  • Managing the CV database.
  • General recruitment admin duties.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have a Diploma/ degree (or studying) in human resources, business, communications, or similar field.
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Previous experience working as a junior recruiter/Trainee recruiter (advantageous)
  • Knowledge database systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent decision-making skills.
  • Good administration and organisational skills.

  • The successful candidate will be working on a flexible schedule (3 days per week).
  • This position is temporary however the successful candidate may be offered a permanent position depending on the operational requirements of the department and/or company.
